Job Description

Overview
The General Manager Operations - ELV is a pivotal role in our organization responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems within a diverse range of projects. This position demands a strategic vision and operational expertise to ensure the successful of comprehensive ELV solutions which include systems such as security communication and building management systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the operations of ELV systems across all projects.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies and best practices.
  • Supervise project managers and technical teams for efficient .
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee budgeting forecasting and resource allocation.
  • Engage in vendor selection and management processes.
  • Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning.
  • Establish key performance indicators to track operational success.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and performance reviews.
  • Enhance client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.
  • Drive innovation in ELV technology and operational processes.
  • Develop training and development programs for team members.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align operational efforts with business objectives.
  • Monitor industry trends and implement relevant improvements.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for upper management review.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience in operations management preferably in ELV systems.
  • Proven track record of successful project management.
  • Strong knowledge of ELV systems and technologies.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage budgets and financial controls.
  • Proficiency in project management and operational software.
  • Experience with risk assessment and quality assurance processes.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to travel as required for project oversight.
  • Professional certifications in project management (e.g. PMP) preferred.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
