Job Description

The WHS Business Partner plays a critical role in safeguarding the health safety and wellbeing of all employees contractors and visitors. They are responsible for ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory obligations proactively managing and mitigating risk supporting and building a culture of safety across the business. This role is essential in reducing incidents highlighting potential risks maintaining productivity and protecting the organisations reputation and legal standing.

What Youll Do:

  • Ensure legal compliance with WHS legislation codes of practice regulatory boards and internal policies.
  • Identify and assess risks across operations and implement effective control measures.
  • Lead incident investigations and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
  • Develop and maintain WHS systems procedures and documentation.
  • Drive safety training and education to build WHS culture & capability across all levels.
  • Monitor and report on WHS performance trends and key metrics.
  • Foster a proactive safety culture through engagement leadership and continuous improvement.
  • Advise executive leadership and board on WHS risks strategic initiatives and emerging issues.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years experience in similar work health & safety role within Australia
  • Clinical experience in dental and/or healthcare (desirable)
  • Incident and investigation training (ICAM or similar)
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Auditing qualification (desirable)
  • Vehicle drivers license required due to need to visit practices
