SITEC - Configuration Manager - Arlington, VA

Peraton is seeking a highly motivatedConfigurationManagerto support the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC). This position will oversee and maintain our organizations IT infrastructureconfiguration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managingconfigurationmanagement processes tools and documentation to ensure system stability consistency and compliance. Position is located in the National Capital Region District of Columbia.

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM its Component Commands its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs) and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration change license and asset management; conduct training and perform Install Move Add Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM the CIO/J6 organization and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintainconfigurationmanagement plans and procedures
• Manage theconfigurationmanagement database (CMDB) and ensure its accuracy
• Oversee change management processes and coordinate with relevant teams
• Conduct regular audits of systemconfigurations and resolve discrepancies
• Implement and maintain version control systems for software and documentation
• Collaborate with development operations and security teams to ensure properconfigurationacross all environments
• Develop and maintain documentation forconfigurations processes and procedures
• Assist in troubleshootingconfiguration-related issues
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies inconfigurationmanagement

Qualifications:

• Min 6 years with HS Diploma 4 years with AS/AA degree or 2 years with BS/BA

• 2 years of related work experience
• TS/SCI clearance required
• Strong knowledge of ITIL framework andconfigurationmanagement principles
• Experience withconfigurationmanagement tools
• Familiarity with version control systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• DoD IAT Level II Certification
