Job Description
Mater Dei Catholic School rooted in the hallmarks of Faith Excellence Service and Community is currently seeking a qualified and compassionate educator to serve as a full-time Learning Resource Room Teacher for Grades 5 through 8 in English Language Arts and Mathematics for the 2025-2026 school year.
This is a meaningful opportunity to support diverse learners in a faith-filled school community and collaborate closely with teachers staff and administrators to ensure all students have the tools and skills they need to succeed.

- Targeted Instructional Support: Provide small-group instruction in both ELA and Math to students in Grades 58 in a dedicated Learning Resource Room setting.
- Accommodation Program Oversight: Coordinate and monitor student accommodations including the creation documentation and implementation of individualized strategies in collaboration with classroom teachers.
- Collaborative Culture: Partner regularly with classroom teachers fellow Learning Resource Room faculty and school administration to design and deliver effective support plans for students.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Track student progress maintain up-to-date records and use data to inform instruction and communicate clearly with families and teacher teams.
- Technology Integration: Leverage instructional technologyincluding iPads SMARTBoards and Chromebooksto personalize learning and reinforce classroom content.
- Professional Development Support: Take advantage of Mater Deis Seat of Wisdom Scholarship Program which offers tuition reimbursement for advanced degrees or certifications in education special education or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Education or related field; certification in Special Education or as a Reading Specialist is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience working in a resource room special education or intervention support setting.
- Familiarity with the needs of upper elementary and middle school learners and the ability to develop age-appropriate academic supports.
