Job Description

What You Can Expect:
Provide leadership for all production Team Members within a department or Value Stream on an assigned shift. Responsible for achievement of production schedules that are created by other supervisors or managers and posting of daily work assignments. Serve as the driver behind product/ process safety quality delivery and morale.

How Youll Create Impact:

  • Provide leadership for all production Team Members within a department or Value Stream on an assigned shift. Supervises two or more Team Members.
  • Responsible for day to day supervision of Team Members. Maintain all time attendance and disciplinary action records for each direct report in a timely manner
  • Responsible for day to day compliance and adherence to FDA QSR requirements
  • Perform spot quality checks 5S audits Layered Process Audits
  • Help drive/ lead continuous improvement projects
  • Ensure team members are up to date and trained to perform assigned functions including but not limited to the areas of GMP EHS and Quality Systems
  • Ensure management is informed of all significant developments regarding the operation
  • Ensure key constraints are managed and properly staffed
  • Ensure product flows at established lead times through manufacturing cell
  • Responsible for recruitment development promotion and disciplinary actions of hourly Team Members on assigned shift
  • Responsible for overall performance management for hourly Team Members including preparing and delivering annual performance reviews

  • Basic understanding of quality systems
  • Basic understanding of lean/ continuous improvement concepts
  • Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing with production team members and management in a professional manner
  • Flexibility to re-prioritize tasks as needs change with strong time management skills
Your Background:
  • High school diploma required Bachelors degree a plus
  • Minimum of 4 years combined industry (biomedical medical device) and/ or military experience; or 6 years of combined industry military and/ or related (general manufacturing quality or logistics) experience.
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered
  • 0 years of supervisory or leadership experience required but 1 preferred; may include military leadership experience.
Travel Expectations:
  • Up to 10%
