In this role youll work with cutting-edge agricultural equipment and premium golf & turf machines to ensure peak performance for our customers.
About the Role:
As a technician you will be responsible for diagnosing maintaining and repairing a wide range of large agricultural equipment and golf & turf machinery. Your work will help farms golf courses and grounds operations run smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys solving mechanical challenges and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
What Youll Do
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on tractors compact construction mowers and turf equipment
Operate diagnostic tools and follow technical manuals
Document work performed and communicate effectively with service advisors and customers
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Provide in-field and in-shop service as needed
Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesQualifications
What it Takes:
3 to 5 years of diesel mechanic experience in a shop or in the field
Proven knowledge of methods materials tools and techniques used in the repair of John Deere equipment.
Must own and maintain own tools.
Strong computer skills
Ability to work varying work schedules with the flexibility to respond to after-hours calls
Ability to assemble and perform maintenance functions on equipment.
Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Have and maintain a clean driving record.
Strong customer service skills
Strong organizational skills
Excellent oral communication and written skills
Strong time-management skills
Compensation will depend on proven knowledge.
Preferred
3 years of John Deere experience
