HireNow Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join a reputable public accounting firm in Houston TX. This is a fantastic opportunity for a CPA with strong tax expertise who is ready to take their career to the next level in a collaborative and client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee preparation and review of complex individual corporate partnership and fiduciary tax returns

Manage client engagements including planning budgeting and execution

Research complex tax issues and provide strategic recommendations

Lead mentor and develop a team of junior and senior accountants

Ensure compliance with federal state and local tax regulations

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients offering proactive tax planning and consulting
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance (masters degree in taxation a plus)
CPA license (active and in good standing)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting tax roles
Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state tax laws
Excellent leadership communication and client service skills
