Our Pueblo CO facility has an immediate opening for a Furnace Deck Operator Ian entry-level role focused on furnace prep load building readings and process flow. Ongoing training supports growth toward the Operator II position.

Shift: 4-day/12-hr shift days and nights rotating 7am-7pm (Every 2month Rotation)

What You Will Do:

  • Provide process integrity and maintain process quality for all furnace process operations.
  • Perform all engineering instruction for all department processes including carbonization densification and heat-treating processes.
  • Following established environmental health and safety standards and procedures while performing daily duties. Is constantly aware of and looks for ways to eliminate safety hazards and improve the overall safety of the workplace.
  • Demonstration of understanding and implementation of BBS (Behavior Based Safety).
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools such as KAS 5S TPM and other continuous process improvement tools.
  • Monitor metrics in the work area. Take appropriate and timely action when metrics indicate downward trends or fall below acceptable limits.
  • Preforms other duties as assigned
