Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Lead Accounts Receivable Representative in Morrisville where your outstanding skills will drive world-class innovation and success!

Responsibilities

  • Flawlessly manage accounts receivable processes ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and collections.
  • Strictly adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
  • Work closely with customers internal departments and external partners to resolve any billing or payment issues.
  • Successfully implement process improvements to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the accounts receivable function.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support month-end close activities including preparing journal entries and maintaining key financial records.
  • Provide outstanding support for audits and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain and update the standard operating procedures for all accounts receivable tasks.
  • Lead and mentor a team encouraging an inclusive and collaborative environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated success in interacting effectively with various teams within the organization.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and a dedication to maintaining punctual attendance.
  • Strong understanding of company policies procedures and objectives.
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An associate or bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
  • 2 years of experience and a solid understanding of accounting concepts practices and procedures.
  • Proficient in using accounting systems Microsoft Office and other digital tools.
  • Knowledge of InforA ERP is a plus.
