Assembly Mechanic Level 2
As an Assembly Mechanic Level 2 here at Honeywell you will play a crucial role in the assembly and testing of our mechanical systems and components. You will be accountable for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through meticulous assembly and adherence to standard operating procedures. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will contribute to the success of our projects and the overall growth of our business.
You will report directly to our Assembly Supervisor and youll work out of our Phoenix Arizona location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes by assembling and testing mechanical systems and components. Your ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow assembly procedures will ensure the accurate and timely completion of projects. By conducting quality inspections and troubleshooting any issues that arise you will help maintain the high standards of our products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble mechanical systems and components according to engineering drawings and assembly procedures
Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly issues or discrepancies
Perform functional testing and validation of assembled products
Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes and test results

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related field
Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and assembly procedures
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools

High school diploma or equivalent
Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly
Experience with precision measuring instruments and gauges
Knowledge of lean manufacturing ethics
Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
Effective communication and teamwork skills
