We are currently expanding our Extended Warranty Management (EWM) International Team in Porto and were looking for a highly motivated German-Speaking Back Office Representative to join us!
About the Extended Warranty Management (EWM) Team
Our EWM Team in Porto is at the forefront of extending our clients operations into the European market. Our client is a leader in the French market for automotive warranties and were bringing that expertise to a wider European audience through our platform.
Today Germany and Italy are our primary markets but weve already launched operations in Spain Portugal and the Czech Republic with plans to expand into England Sweden and more by 2025.
Our core activities involve managing dealer warranty extended warranty and maintenance contracts. This includes handling authorization requests and contract management requests for a variety of products all from our centralized platform in Porto.
Your Future Mission in the EWM Team
As a German-Speaking Back Office Representative you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations and client satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
- Vehicle Repair Request Management: Efficiently manage incoming vehicle repair requests in strict accordance with contractual coverage terms.
- Application Admissibility: Thoroughly examine the admissibility of all applications received.
- Internal Communication: Proactively contact all necessary internal departments via phone to gather required information or clarify details.
- Insurability & Risk Analysis: Analyze applications to assess insurability and financial risk providing essential support for informed decision-making always adhering to established procedures and delegation rules.
- Decision Communication: Clearly and professionally communicate decisions to customers and/or business partners.
- Administrative Management: Ensure the meticulous administrative management of all processed requests and related documentation.
As Our New Back Office Representative You Must Have:
- German Fluency (C1-C2): Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in German are essential.
- Education: Minimum of a 12th-grade education or a university degree in Business Administration/Business Management Insurance Banking or Public Administration.
- Experience: A minimum of 6 months of experience in a Back Office function.
- Automotive Knowledge: Familiarity with the automotive sector is a definite plus.
- IT Proficiency: Good knowledge of IT tools and applications relevant to back-office operations.
- Communication Skills: Strong overall communication skills both verbal and written.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: A continuous pursuit of customer satisfaction.
- Quality Focus: A strong drive for achieving very high-quality results.
- English Proficiency: Good written English is required for internal communication.
