Job Summary

The Supply Chain Performance Analyst supports the Distribution organization by analyzing costs across transportation warehousing internal fleet operations and other logistics functions. This role delivers actionable insights and strategic recommendations to improve efficiency reduce expenses and optimize supply chain performance. The analyst collaborates with branch managers operations staff and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Essential functions:

  • Analyzes supply chain expense across various geographies and business units to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements.
  • Identifies quantifies communicates and monitors the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Develops and maintains reporting tools dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide visibility into trends and branch-level performance across transportation warehousing fleet and delivery operations.
  • Works closely with independent branches to validate freight invoices warehouse expenditures fleet maintenance costs and delivery operations expenses.
  • Supports branch managers and operations personnel in implementing cost reduction strategies and process improvements throughout the supply chain.
  • Supports any strategic initiatives being developed and/or implemented by the Supply Chain Strategy & Optimization team.
  • Utilizes analytical tools to model cost scenarios and assess the financial impact of operational changes across the organization.
  • Develops ad hoc reports and presentations to support leadership and branch management decision-making.
  • Assists in the development of process documentation and training in support of strategic initiatives or implementation of continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in supply chain management logistics business finance or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in supply chain analytics transportation management warehousing fleet operations or financial analysis related to supply chain expenses.
  • Knowledge of the electrical distribution industry or wholesale distribution is a plus.

Skills and Abilities

  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel SQL and Power BI.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication.
  • Solid understanding of operational cost structures related to freight warehousing and fleet.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across independent branches and departments.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify define and analyze problems in a structured and understandable way.
  • Excellent customer service skills include being competent accurate responsive and engaged.
  • Ability to performs all aspects of the job as accurately and efficiently and safely as possible.

The annual pay range for this position is $56500 - $74000 depending on experience.
