Data Analyst
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst with 6 years of experience to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in turning raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in data analysis visualization and business acumen with proven experience translating data into meaningful recommendations.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity at Omni Fiber. Candidates must not require sponsorship now or in the future at this time.
Responsibilities:
- Collect clean and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
- Develop dashboards reports and visualizations to support internal teams and stakeholders.
- Identify trends patterns and anomalies in data to inform business strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing Product Finance and Operations.
- Design and implement data models and metrics that track business performance.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and generate hypotheses for A/B testing and experimentation.
- Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences including senior leadership.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of data processes and governance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Statistics Mathematics Computer Science Economics or a related field.
- 6 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one data visualization tool (e.g. Tableau Power BI Looker).
- Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational databases.
- Strong business acumen and ability to link data insights to business outcomes.
- Excellent communication problem-solving and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Local to Allen TX and able to commute to the office a few days a week. If you are not local we will consider remote applicants.
- Telecommunications experience.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. Snowflake Redshift BigQuery).
- Knowledge of machine learning basics or predictive analytics.
- Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline automation is a plus.
