Job Description

THE POSITION

Are you searching for new challenges and opportunities in your human resource career The Department of Transportation Human Resource Office is looking for a human resource professional to assist in the management of employee relations activities for assigned organizations. This includes providing consultation on employee relations matters processing grievances performing investigations for disciplinary actions conducting Labor Management meetings and providing training on employee relations issues. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an analyst supporting Engineering District 6-0 you will provide interpretation and administration of collective bargaining agreements for managers and supervisors; participate in and coordinate fact-finding investigations; and be responsible for investigating and recommending resolution of arrests charges and convictions of any employee or prospective employee in accordance with the Governors Code of Conduct. In addition you will present cases at Eastern or Western Joint Area and State Committees.
