Job Description
We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team as General Labourers at the PWT mill in Golden B.C. As a General Labourer you will play a crucial role in our production process ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility.
Hourly Wage: $34.875
Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform various physical tasks including but not limited to lifting carrying pulling and sorting veneer
- Operate machinery and equipment to assist in the manufacturing process
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Assist in loading and unloading materials or finished products
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding health safety quality etc.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and reliably
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time lifting heavy loads of up to 50 lbs repetitive motions etc.)
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
- Flexibility to work different shifts and hours
- Reliable trustworthy and proactive with a positive cooperative attitude
- Strong work ethic and focus on quality and safety
- Ability to attend work regularly arrive punctually and consistently
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
