Job Description
NOV is excited to announce that we are hiring additional Maintenance Technicians to become a vital part of our Fiber Glass Systems Maintenance Department in Burkburnett TX. These positions are scheduled Sunday through Friday Days-7:00am - 3:30p / Evenings 3:00pm - 11:30pm / and Nights 11:00pm - 7:30am. See hiring manager for details.

The Maintenance Technician has the responsibility to maintain plant equipment utilities and grounds to ensure safe and efficient plant operation through repair fabrication and installation of new equipment while maintaining all Quality and Safety measures.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Work with the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Facility Manager to establish a program to eliminate downtime in trouble areas.
Repair production equipment safely and as quickly as possible after a breakdown.
Work on assigned projects.
Fabricate and install new equipment.
Maintain machinery according to Preventative Maintenance Program
Troubleshoot equipment.
Utilize safe work habits.
Wear appropriate PPE.
Comply with all NOV Company policies guidelines and procedures.
Comply with all HSE policies guidelines and procedures.
Comply with all Quality policies guidelines and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.


Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Job Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
Must have background inmechanical and electrical repair with use of shop tools.
2-5 years of general industrial maintenance preferred.
Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical prints.
Ability to work overtime and shift work as required.
Standing Walking Bending/Stooping Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily.
Lifting and Push/Pull weights up to 50 lbs. regularly.
Travel less than 10%
