GBS Source-to-Pay (S2P) Operational Excellence Specialist
About the Role:
The GBS Source-to-Pay (S2P) Operational Excellence Specialist will be responsible for leading and coordinating process improvement initiatives within the GBS Source-to-Pay (S2P) team. This role focuses on driving efficiency standardization and automation across procurement supplier enablement invoice processing and payment operations. The ideal candidate is highly analytical detail-oriented and experienced in process optimization project management and stakeholder collaboration.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired employees will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.

About the Role:
The GBS Source-to-Pay (S2P) Operational Excellence Specialist will be responsible for leading and coordinating process improvement initiatives within the GBS Source-to-Pay (S2P) team. This role focuses on driving efficiency standardization and automation across procurement supplier enablement invoice processing and payment operations. The ideal candidate is highly analytical detail-oriented and experienced in process optimization project management and stakeholder collaboration.
Core Responsibilities:
- Process Improvement & Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in the S2P process analyze root causes and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational performance.
- Project Management: Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects aimed at improving service delivery automation and compliance within the S2P function.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to measure process effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Procurement Finance IT Supplier Enablement) and external partners to align operational improvements with business objectives.
- Automation & Digitalization: Support the adoption of automation tools and technology solutions to streamline manual processes and improve data accuracy.
- Standardization & Best Practices: Assist Manager with implementation of standardized procedures ensuring alignment with global best practices and compliance requirements.
- Reporting & Insights: Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership through detailed reporting and analysis.
- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in process improvement operational excellence or project management within procurement finance or shared services.
- Strong understanding of S2P processes including procurement supplier enablement invoice processing and payments.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Excel Power BI SQL) and process automation tools (RPA Coupa SAP or similar platforms).
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive initiatives from concept to execution.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced global environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
