NOTICE OF POSITION


POSITION:
The Superintendent of Schools Dr. Tonja M. Williams Knight is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:

PROGRAM COORDINATOR - TOSA
STANLEY M. MAKOWSKI EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER #99

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must hold a masters degree and NYS certification. It is required that candidates must attach a PDF or a screen shot of their certifications. Candidates must have completed three years of approved and appropriate teaching and/or coaching experience. The candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skills organizational skills and demonstrate leadership and interpersonal communication skills with adults.

JOB SUMMARY:
Oversight and coordination of all IB related activities including the PYP Exhibition teacher training program of inquiry and unit development and student evaluation. The role of the IB PYP Coordinator is to plan and oversee the implementation and management of the program. Through coordination with teachers administrators and the IB regional office the coordinator is responsible for the full delivery of the curriculum including documentation reporting analysis and evaluation.

EXPERIENCE:
Experience and training in the Primary Years Program (PYP); previous experience as an IB coordinator preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Under the direction of the building principle the responsibilities of the IB Program Coordinator will include but are not limited to the following:
