Contracts Manager- Erlanger KYRole Overview:The Contracts Manager will be a member of the ADM Legal team supporting the Nutrition business unit. This position is responsible for overseeing the processes related to reviewing negotiating and tracking a wide range of commercial contracts while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards. The Contracts Manager works closely with in-house counsel cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to facilitate efficient accurate and timely contract execution. This role requires a proactive detail-oriented individual with strong organizational analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Contract Negotiation and Management: Partner with in-house attorneys to review negotiate and manage commercial contracts with third parties ensuring alignment with business goals and legal requirements.
- Template and Playbook Development: Create and maintain contract templates and negotiation playbooks to drive consistency mitigate risk and streamline the contract process.
- Compliance and Risk Mitigation: Ensure all contracts adhere to company policies insurance standards and applicable laws. Identify potential risks and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Contract Workflow Oversight: Drive accurate tracking of assigned contracts and workflows in the contract tracking system.
- Internal Collaboration and Support: Serve as a resource to internal business teams providing guidance on contract terms negotiation strategies and risk-related questions.
- Cross-Functional Engagement: Coordinate with Legal Insurance Procurement and other departments to ensure contract terms align with ADMs operational and strategic objectives.
Qualifications:- Educational Background: A bachelors degree in Business Legal Studies or a related field is required. Equivalent business experience may also be considered.
Experience:- Minimum of 3 years in contract management legal operations or a related role preferably in a corporate or regulated environment.
- Skills: Solid understanding of contract law and legal terminology. Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously.
- Technology Proficiency: Proficiency with contract lifecycle management (CLM) software workflow automation tools and Microsoft Office Suite is required. Familiarity with legal databases and e-signature tools is preferred.
- Competencies: High attention to detail effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Ability to work independently while supporting multiple stakeholders. Demonstrated professionalism discretion and sound judgment.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
