About ADF Health Services
In partnership with Bupa our ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia.

This includes providing defence-ready clinical and support staff across 45 on-base locations ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care.

AboutLaverton Clinic

Laverton Clinic is located on RAAF Base Williams in the suburb of Laverton (approx. 23km west of Melbourne CBD). This Airforce base has specialty schools (Language & Defence international training centre). It is also headquarters for Air Force Training Group. Being a relatively small clinic services include primary medical nursing pharmaceutical and dental. The standard operating hours are generally 0730-1600 Monday Thursday and a half day Friday 07:30 13:00.

Serco is a place for you
Based at the Cerberus Health Centre you will provide support and treatments to valuable Defence Force Personnel. You will be responsible for providing a range of evidence-based physiotherapy assessments treatments and rehabilitative services to patients. These services will include providing direction on rehabilitation programs splinting/plastering/fitting of orthoses or other devices use of electrotherapy modalities or hydrotherapy pools where required as well as providing advice and recommendations to other health professionals.

To be successful in this role youll have:

• The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
• Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Minimum of 2 years full-time post graduate musculoskeletal experience within the last 5 years in an accredited physiotherapy environment (or part-time equivalent).
• Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
• Membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (desirable).

Please note:

• You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance for this role.
• You dont need to be enlisted in the Defence Force to work as a civilian on-base and your job stays here even if the Defence personnel you care for are deployed.
