Job Description

The Opportunity:

As an Internal Product Specialist based in Sweden you will play a pivotal role in driving sales by providing commercial support to both external and internal customers. Your key responsibilities will include responding to product and application inquiries identifying customer needs promoting suitable solutions preparing competitive quotations and managing product-related quality feedback to support long-term customer satisfaction and business growth. You will join an existing collaborative team of 10.

This position has become available due to the retirement of one of our associates after 25 years with the company. We look forward to welcoming a new member to our team who can continue to drive our success in the lab safety and cleanroom sectors.

What Were Looking For

  • Educational Background: A degree in chemistry is required; a MSc in chemistry or chemical engineering is preferred.
  • Commercial Acumen: Proven experience in advising customers on technical chemical or laboratory products with a focus on lab safety and cleanroom environments.
  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge and/or experience in tender legislation is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office ERP and CRM systems.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Swedish and English.
  • Personal Attributes: Driven proactive and able to take ownership.
  • Additional Requirements: Drivers license desirable but not a must.

  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional support to customers and colleagues within laboratory products. Advisor role to customers.
  • Quotation Management: Create negotiate and follow up on quotations.
  • Sales Proactivity: Proactively sell the dedicated product range and cross-sell other product ranges.
  • Training: Train colleagues in dedicated product ranges.
  • Tender Participation: Participate in tender work find products and answer technical requirements.
  • Market Intelligence: Follow market trends within the dedicated product range and build market intelligence.
  • Marketing Activities: Participate in customer visits exhibitions customer events and other marketing activities as needed.
  • Collaboration: Cooperate closely with local regional and European colleagues within the dedicated product range.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
