As we navigate a critical period of transformation we are looking for a Head of Strategic Projects & PMO to lead and deliver our most impactful initiatives across the Water Services Business -encompassing South West Water Bristol Water Bournemouth Water and SES Water.
This is a unique opportunity to lead large-scale strategic change drive performance excellence and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of water services for the region.
What youll be doing
Spearheading a portfolio of complex high-impact strategic projects that deliver growth transformation and measurable outcomes
Establishing and leading a high-performing centralised Project Management Office (PMO) embedding consistent tools standards and governance frameworks
Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership providing strategic oversight of programmes and portfolios
Building organisation-wide project delivery capability and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Ensuring risk compliance and governance standards are met across all programmes
Engaging stakeholders at all levels from operational teams to the Board to secure alignment and impact
Championing innovation process improvement and change adoption across all water services businesses
What were looking for
Proven experience in senior project and programme leadership roles
Expertise in managing large complex cross-functional programmes -ideally within utilities or regulated environments
Deep knowledge of both agile and traditional project delivery methodologies
Experience in organisational transformation process improvement and PMO leadership
PMP PRINCE2 Agile or equivalent project certifications (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt desirable)
Highly developed interpersonal influencing and leadership skills with the ability to drive change at pace
Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
