The Unaccredited Neurosurgery Registrar is involved in the daily management of patients in the outpatient inpatient and surgical settings at St. Vincents Hospital Melbourne. The position involves participation in the on-call roster which includes nights and weekends as well as participation in clinic audit meetings journal club neuropathology neuroradiology neurovascular meetings and tutorials. Research is highly encouraged in this position.
Duties include:
Classifications for this position will range from HM25 HM30 ($129048.40
$177622.12 per annum)
Length of appointment: 02 February 2026 31 January 2027

About the Neurosurgery Department
The Neurosurgery department provides a complete range of acute and elective neurosurgical care to the entire state of Victoria. Sub specialisation within the team has allowed all neurological conditions to be cared for with the highest level of available expertise. Our complete patient care model involves preadmission clinics clinical pathways and multidisciplinary clinics including Neuro-oncology Base of Skull and Neurovascular.
