Our Product team at UpGuard comprises of our Product Management Product Support Engineering Design Data Leaks Detection and Third Party Risk Management Services. Why are we hiring this role
As a Senior Product Designer at UpGuard youll play a key role in shaping features for our growing cybersecurity SaaS platform. Youll collaborate with PMs engineers and designers to shape refined user-focused experiences from early concept to final delivery. While some projects will lean toward fast-paced execution many will give you the opportunity to help define the problem explore solutions and see your work through to launch. Youll also have the opportunity to work closely with users from some of the worlds most well-known companies designing solutions that help them manage risk stay secure and make smarter decisions.
What will you do
- Lead the design of end-to-end product experiences from early concept through to polished execution and iteration
- Partner with PMs engineers and subject matter experts to shape feature direction and design decisions
- Align on discovery efforts contribute to research plans run interviews and translate insights into opportunities
- Prototype and test ideas with the right level of fidelity for each stage of the process
- Improve core user flows by simplifying complexity and enhancing clarity and usability
- Contribute to our design system and help raise the bar on design quality across teams
- Refine designs using feedback from customers product data and internal input
- Collaborate with engineers to build test and ship high-quality product experiences
What will you bring
- Experience: 5 years of commercial product design experience with a strong track record of shipping simple intuitive user experiences that solve real-world problems
- Craft: You care deeply about quality balancing visual polish with thoughtful problem-solving. Your portfolio shows strong interaction and visual design as well as clear thinking behind the work and the outcomes it delivered
- Proactivity: You take initiative seek clarity and drive your work forward without needing hand-holding. Youre comfortable owning features end-to-end and navigating ambiguity with confidence
- Systems: Experience contributing to and evolving design systems with engineers and designers. You also help shape internal team processes that improve collaboration quality and consistency
- Communication: Clear communicator who explains design rationale well gives actionable feedback and works smoothly with remote teams
- Collaboration: A low-ego team-first approach to working with PMs engineers and other designers you know when to lead when to support and how to uplift others
- Growth mindset: Youre always looking to improve open to feedback and proactive about learning. You draw inspiration from industry best practice and apply it thoughtfully to your work
- Tools: You have strong experience with Figma and use it to efficiently create production-ready designs. Youre comfortable with modern tooling and staying up to date as the ecosystem evolves
What will give you an edge
- Experience in cybersecurity. If not youll just need to be willing to learn
- Experience in designing SaaS software
- Experience working in an agile software development team
- Experience designing for a multilingual audience
