Job Description

On the Finance team we enjoy connecting with all Ash departments to support this industry-leading organization. The Staff Accountant will be key in daily and monthly financial processes supporting the accounting function and serve as a resource and partner to the Finance team.

Responsibilities

As the Staff Accountant youll assist on critical financial processes that support the evolving needs of our growing business. To be successful you will:

  • Support month-end close processes. Prepare and complete various journal entries reconciliations and supporting schedules. Ensure accuracy and timeliness to maintain set standards and deadlines.
  • Maintain and assist with accounting operations and miscellaneous projects and activities.
  • Serve as a backup for critical accounting processes as needed.
  • Be a change agent for the team identify and implement process improvements as applicable.
  • Support financial and company analysis annual budget and forecasting needs.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting and 1 years of experience OR two to four years of relevant experience are required
  • Entry level accounting US GAAP and Microsoft Excel experience is required
