The Unit Manager is responsible and accountable for the overall health status of the residents. Directly manages supervises and evaluates the resident care service assuring quality resident care and consumer satisfaction. Demonstrates a working knowledge of personnel management and communication principles in order to maintain a positive work environment. Utilizes lean principles in meeting strategic goals. Collaborates with nursing supervisor and works as needed as charge nurse on their units.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Licenses and Certifications Required
Current RN licensure in ND or compact RN licensure.
CPR certified.
Educational Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing as evidenced by licensure.
Experience Requirements
Previous nursing home experience preferred not required.
