Title: Depot Material Handler
Pay Rate or Salary Range: $35.00 $40.00/hr.
Employment Type: Part-Time Contract (20 hours per week)
Estimated End Date: July 2026

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Depot Material Handler to work on-site with our client a worldwide designer manufacturer and integrator of a precision control components company. This part-time role supports depot material handling operations at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) on North Island Navy Station in Coronado CA. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Control:
Warehouse and properly store all Moog parts
Secure and manage all government property
Receiving Inspection:
Receive hardware/components from Moog Torrance
Prepare and verify kits for depot delivery
Ensure proper documentation and storage of units
Depot Repair Support:
Deliver parts and units to depot personnel
Act as liaison between Moog and depot teams
Ensure Moog s quality standards are met
Track units in Moog s MBS system
Stockroom & Parts Management:
Maintain Moog s stockroom at the depot
Ensure 24-hour parts turn-around commitment
Replenish inventory and organize extra kit parts
Shipping & Logistics:
Confirm and manage documentation (C of C DD1574 tags)
Coordinate carrier pick-up (ATAC or others)
Cost Tracking & Reporting:
Monitor and collect Artisan costs at the depot
Publish reports on inbound and outbound unit activity
Note: All lifting is under 25 lbs. No forklift or pallet jack needed. A golf cart may be used on public roads (valid license may be required).
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred or ability to follow written work instructions
- 2 years of experience in Material Handling Logistics or Supply Chain
- Prior experience with FRCSW preferred
- Basic computer skills (Word Excel Outlook)
- Comfortable being on your feet regularly and lifting up to 35 lbs (with lifting devices available for heavier items)
