Job Description
MRI Technologist Radiology (Night Shift)
Location: Athena Medtech
Department: Radiology MRI
Schedule: 4 Days/Week (10-Hour Shifts)
Shift Hours: 11:00 PM 9:00 AM Monday through Thursday
Weekly Hours: 40
Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years in MRI Imaging
Athena Medtech is seeking a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to join our Radiology Department on the night shift. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating MRI systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images demonstrate excellent patient care skills and ensure adherence to safety and imaging protocols.
Key Responsibilities-
Prepare and accurately position patients for MRI procedures selecting proper anatomic and technical parameters.

Conduct patient pre-screening and provide education to ensure understanding and comfort throughout the exam.

Operate imaging equipment to capture cross-sectional images; transfer and archive images within PACS and related systems.

Adhere to radiation and MRI safety protocols at all times including screening for contraindications and implant safety.

Monitor maintain and report any equipment issues to appropriate personnel.

Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient data imaging studies and procedural information.

Maintain cleanliness and organization within the MRI suite to support operational efficiency and patient safety.

ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT certification (required).

BLS certification (required).

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in MRI scanning and imaging procedures.

Proficiency with Epic PACS and Powerscribe systems preferred.

Strong attention to detail excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently on night shifts.
