Job Description
Job Title : Network Support Engineer
Location : Philadelphia PA - Onsite
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Cisco certifications are required.
- Minimum of 5 years experience with Palo Alto NGFW.
- Minimum of 10 years network engineering experience.
- Must align with client standard business hours between 8AM-5PM Monday Friday Eastern Time
- Must be available for on-call rotation for after-hours support
Roles & Responsibilities
- Expert knowledge of Cisco hardware (switches routers) and IOS
- Expert knowledge of Palo Alto Next Generation Firewall
- Expert knowledge of Cisco ISE
- Expert knowledge in networking technologies such as wireless MPLS Private IP TLS SIP
- Ability to create and maintain highly detailed infrastructure documentation including systems diagrams and architectural assessments for support audit compliance and disaster recovery purposes
- Ability to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and thought leader for other members of the IT team
- Knowledge of Data Center technologies including storage-FC FCIP virtualization (VMWare) Nexus and Ciscos Unified Computing System (UCS)
- Ability to support and/or lead proof-of-concept efforts
Education
Have an associate degree or bachelors degree in computer science information systems business administration or other related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
