Associate Attorney

About the Job:

We are seeking an associate attorney with at least two years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing complex pleadings written discovery depositions motions and briefs in support of defense strategies. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who is eager to take on increasing levels of responsibility within a supportive and dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and draft complex pleadings written discovery depositions motions and briefs.
  • Develop and execute defense strategies in civil litigation and insurance defense cases.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients opposing counsel and court officials.
  • Manage case files from inception through trial ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other staff to provide comprehensive legal services.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Washington State Bar Association.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation or insurance defense.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
  • Experience with deposition and motion practice preferred.
