About the job:
- The end-client seeks to hire a Senior Mechanical Engineer who is highly knowledgeable and experienced in Industrial HVAC and Mechanical Systems design procurement construction and commissioning.
- The individual will work with engineers of varied disciplines to fulfill the facilities mechanical engineering responsibilities for a variety of laboratory process and industrial projects.
Basic requirements inculde:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent Engineering Degree.
- Multiple years of experience in Industrial HVAC and Mechanical Systems design at a consulting engineering firm or a Design/Build Mechanical Contractor.
- Knowledge and experience with chilled tower process and hot water systems steam gas refrigeration compressed air fuel comfort and process air side systems.
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks as well as a proven record of excellent client service.
- Work to meet client deadlines including balancing multiple priorities and responding to changes in deadline scope and design as they occur.
- Highly effective oral and written communication skills and highly effective interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to customer facilities for design meetings equipment installation supervision and commissioning.
- Work experience at a Mechanical Contracting firm desired but not required.
- Experience with fire suppression plumbing systems and PLC control systems would be a plus but not required
