Position / Specialty: Echo Tech that is able to rotate in on stress testing Start Date: 6/30 7/14 Shift: Variable Days Off Weekday Shifts: 0630-1700 Weekend shifts:Overall schedule will include a rotation of weekday/weekend coverage -Weekday shifts may vary and can include inpatient/outpatient coverage -Weekend shifts are typically scheduled for 6 or 7 hours and will only include inpatient coverage -Shared weekday/weekend call coverage among sonographers. -Accountable for reaching hospital within 45 minutes when called for emergent callback examinations -Call Required 2 days per week plus 1 or 2 weekends per month (6 hour call shifts). Years of experience Req: 1 Year First-timers accepted: Yes Weekend Req: Yes National Certs Req: RDCS or RCS Preferred BLS Req: Yes Is on-call Req: No Floating within Hospital: Yes Floating to sister Hospitals: No Open to accommodating block schedule: No - unless posting says otherwise Locals accepted: Yes Pending License accepted: Yes Application needs to be submitted and received by licensing board to qualify RTO Restrictions: 1 week max Position Details: The Cardiac Sonographer works collaboratively with health care providers to provide direct and indirect care to patients undergoing procedures throughout the hospital. Responsibilities include but are not limited to performance of transthoracic echocardiograms stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms. Evening and weekend call is mandatory.
