Job Description
Role: Power BI Fabric Support Engineer & Developer
Location: Jersey City NJ (Hybrid Onsite 1 Day/Week)

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and innovative Power BI Fabric Support Engineer & Developer to architect develop and maintain advanced business intelligence solutions. This full-time hybrid role is based in Jersey City NJ requiring onsite presence one day per week. Ideal candidates will combine strong technical expertise with effective business communication.
Education Requirement: Bachelors degree
Key Responsibilities:
1. Power BI Architecture & Development
- Design and maintain end-to-end Power BI architecture including:
- Data ingestion via Fabric Pipelines & OneLake
- Semantic model optimization
- DAX calculations and measures
- User-centric dashboard and report design
- Enforce governance standards and naming conventions.
- Develop and manage enterprise datasets and certified dataflows.
2. Microsoft Fabric Engineering
- Leverage Microsoft Fabric tools such as:
- Direct Lake Lakehouses OneLake
- Pipelines and Notebooks
- Build automated scalable data workflows for real-time and batch analytics.
3. Power Automate & Workflow Automation
- Implement Power Automate flows for:
- Report refresh and alert systems
- Third-party system integration via APIs
- Workflow automation to replace manual processes
4. Data Transformation & Scripting
- Utilize Power Query (M language) for complex data shaping.
- Manage report deployment validation and Azure or REST API integrations.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Communicate effectively across both technical and business domains.
- Produce clear documentation and user guides to support solution delivery.
