We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our booming Atlanta office that is rapidly growing. The Assistant Project Manager will support the project management team in all aspects of project planning execution and closeout. This role will assist with coordination scheduling and communication between all project stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Assist in project planning including creating schedules and budgets.
Coordinate with subcontractors suppliers and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
Support the Project Manager in tracking project progress and maintaining project. documentation.
Help manage project timelines ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
Assist with the preparation and processing of change orders and RFIs.
Monitor and report on project costs identifying potential issues and recommending solutions.
Ensure compliance with all company policies procedures and safety standards.
Attending project meetings and preparing meeting minutes.
Support the Project Manager in conducting project closeout including final inspections and documentation.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree: Required in Construction Management Engineering Architecture or a related field.
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the commercial construction industry preferably in project management or similar role.
Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore MS Project Familiarity with CAD and BIM software is preferred.
In-depth understanding of construction procedures safety regulations and project management principles.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to handle project challenges and ensure smooth execution.
