Job Title: Purchase Manager Building Construction

Key Responsibilities:
Plan manage and execute procurement of construction materials (cement steel aggregates electricals plumbing etc.).
Identify evaluate and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
Negotiate prices terms and delivery schedules for optimal cost and quality.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites as per construction schedule.
Coordinate with site engineers project managers and accounts for material requirements and budgeting.
Maintain records of purchases price history and vendor performance.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Handle purchase orders contracts and related documentation accurately and efficiently.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelors degree in any discipline (preferably in Civil Engineering or Supply Chain Management).
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in procurement within the building construction sector.
Strong knowledge of construction materials market trends and vendor networks.
Excellent negotiation analytical and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP Tally etc.).
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
