Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Production Support Engineer to manage ITSM processes and provide end-to-end support for banking applications. The role involves monitoring APIs batch processing incident resolution and ensuring stability and performance of critical systems. Candidates must bring strong knowledge of production environments scripting automation and release management within the banking domain.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage ITSM processes (incident change problem disaster recovery)
- Provide L2/L3 production support for banking applications
- Monitor and troubleshoot APIs and batch job processes
- Use monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve system issues
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for operational efficiency
- Write SQL queries for troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Coordinate and support releases of application updates
- Provide support during late shift hours and ensure continuous operations
Required Skills:
- 10 years in production support and ITSM roles
- Hands-on experience with API support batch processing automation/scripting and SQL
- Proven track record in release and incident management
- Strong understanding of the banking industry and related regulatory environment
- Willingness to work late shifts (10 AM 7 PM PST)
Preferred Skills:
- ITIL or relevant ITSM certifications
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. AppDynamics Dynatrace) automation frameworks and release management software
- SQL/database certifications
