Position: ServiceNow Developer
Location: Woodlawn Maryland
Duration: Contract
Job Description:
- Extensive experience as a ServiceNow Developer in various modules and services; Experience as a ServiceNow Team Lead providing direction and assistance to the development team.
Position Description
- Provide support as a Team Lead and as a ServiceNow Senior Developer.
- Analyze the customer requirements and develop a solution architecture that addresses the technical management maximizes automation and provides operational reporting aspects of the proposal.
- Lead the development of solution artifacts such as road maps optimization of operations architecture and/or block diagrams with a view outside of User Story requirements.
- Provide support in building prototypes and lead technical reviews and discussions of defined requirements.
- Provide support and mentor ServiceNow Developers.
- Detailed Skills Requirements FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelors and 7 years of experience Masters and 5 years of experience or 11 in lieu of a degree
- 8 years of experience as ServiceNow developer
- Excellent technical leadership skills and initiative to take on additional responsibilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to deliver technical solutions simply and succinctly
- Experience with the US Federal Government
FACTORS TO HELP YOU SHINE (Required Skills)
These skills will help you succeed in this position:
- Required ServiceNow required certification:
- Certified System Administrator (baseline)
- Certified Application Developer (baseline)
- Additional ServiceNow CIS certification with preference for the following:
- CIS Customer Service Management
- CIS IT Service Management
- CIS Discovery
- CIS Service Mapping
- CIS Strategic Portfolio Management
- CIS Application Portfolio Management
- CIS Software Asset Management
- CIS Hardware Asset Management
- 8 years of experience with developing ServiceNow solutions across various platform applications such as ITSM ITOM (HAM and SAM) ITBM CSM SecOps GRC HR
- 5 years of experience with technical discussions and reviews.
- Experience across numerous parts of the ServiceNow platform and experience with commonly integrated third-party technologies.
- 5 years of experience in developing system architecture design principles and impacts.
- 5 years of experience supporting IT related data integrity (CMDB HAM SAM etc.)
- 5 years of Industry experience (e.g. Financial Services Healthcare High Tech Manufacturing Retail etc.)
- 5 years of technical leadership experience driving change/solutions.
HOW TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD (Desired Skills)
- Showcase your knowledge of modern development through the following experience or skills:
- Experience with Web development including technologies such as X-HTML CSS3 SQL XML Angular and JavaScript PHP .NET or Java
- Experience with implementing Java scripting to support automation across the various modules in ServiceNow
- Experience with REST and SOAP web service protocols
- Experience with Business Rules Workflow Identification Rules Workspaces and External Portals
- Knowledge of SAML Active Directory or LDAP
- Specialized ServiceNow Developer Certifications including ITSM HAM SAM ITBM CSM SecOps GRC TRM/APM or HR
- Project Management or Agile certification
- ITILv4 Foundations Certification
- Ability to work in a high growth fast paced environment
Education
