Job Description

COMPANY OVERVIEW

DeBra-Kuempel Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of EMCOR Group Inc. DeBra-Kuempel combines the expertise of two of the tri-states oldest and most innovative companies providing mechanical and electrical services to Cincinnati Dayton Columbus Evansville Lexington Louisville and the surrounding areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure delivery vehicle is in a safe operating condition by completing the pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
  • Verify accuracy of all equipment picked up or delivered using PO and Job Number.
  • Maintain a clean safe environment in the cab as well as outside of vehicle plus ensure gates and lift gate are secure to the vehicle; wash vehicle as necessary.
  • When not in use all straps and blocking materials & tools are to be safely stowed in their proper place.
  • Comply with all safe driving rules and traffic laws.
  • Ensure that the materials on the truck are secure properly strapped and blocked.
  • Ensure that all paperwork is in vehicle when handling hazardous material.
  • Performs material tools and equipment pickup at suppliers for delivery to either the shop or jobsite.
  • Ensure that all deliveries arrive in a timely manner.
  • End of the day: make sure all delivery packaging is discarded in the proper container and all paperwork is turned in (pick/up delivery receipts pre-post trip inspections).
  • Wear complete DeBra-Kuempel uniform (PPE) with necessary badges or identification.
  • Keep shop clean and materials/tools organized.
  • Notify proper staff of any vehicle maintenance issues.
  • Experience with towing trailers is preferred but not necessary.
  • Experience operating a fork truck (if no experience training will be provided)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Work hours: 6:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m. Monday Friday (additional hours when necessary).
  • Hold a valid CDL A drivers license (Optional).
  • Current DOT Medical Card.
  • Clean MVR.
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Team player
