Job Description
Wage: $30-$36 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD based on sketches and field notes
Support Outside Plant (OSP) Engineers with design documents for fiber and copper builds to homes businesses nodes and cell sites
Coordinate with Engineering Construction Logistics and Facilities teams
Tabulate materials and assist with project planning documentation
Update M4 maps and records from as-built documentation
Maintain accurate system records related to network components and upgrades
Assist with special drafting/mapping projects for internal and regulatory needs
Organize and maintain drawing and document filing systems
Learn and apply new software related to mapping drafting and GIS
Required Qualifications
Valid drivers license
Proficiency in AutoCAD Microsoft Office and Google Earth
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks
Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work independently
Preferred Qualifications
Certificate or Associate Degree in Drafting Engineering or related field
Experience in telecommunications or utility drafting
Familiarity with GIS platforms and mapping software
