North America ATS is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Finance Manager to lead Transportation Operations Management (TOM) Products and Automation. This is an exciting opportunity to create and innovate on behalf of our customers and build the transportation experience of the future. This role will have heavy impact and high visibility to the long-term strategy for the business and it will require strong partnership with planning teams as well as Finance and Operations Support groups. Experience with this team opens up amazing career opportunities across Amazon such as senior roles supporting an impressive array of business areas project management roles and/or management opportunities locally regionally and globally. We are looking for a leader who exhibits excellent attention to detail and is comfortable with ambiguity. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to influence business owners support thoughtful decision-making and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment. Regular collaboration with executives and various business units across Amazon will allow you the opportunity to exhibit your verbal and written communication skills. A typical day in this role provides an opportunity to improve and create new measures for business effectiveness innovate creative solutions utilizing large scale data mining tools and identify high priority projects to maximize results for key stakeholders.

About the team
The Transportation Operations Management (TOM) Finance Team is committed to driving strategic partnerships with Operations and Product teams while maintaining a balanced work environment that prioritizes flexibility.
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting business economics or a related analytical field (e.g. engineering math computer science)
- 5 years of finance experience or Masters degree and 3 years of finance experience
- MBA or CPA
- 6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
