Job Description

What youll do

Responsible for ensuring all clinics and/or dentists are compliant with the various licensing and permits guidelines required in their respective cities counties and states. Very fast-paced and high volume environment.

This position is based in the GEDC Practice Support Center in Southfield MI and will require a daily commute and presence in the office (5 days/week M-F).

What youll bring to the team

  • Ensure compliance with all business-related license requirements in every state that GEDC operates in.
  • Provide efficient and professional administrative support to the Manager
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail for Real Estate department
  • Process corporate check requests and credit card payments
  • Handle direct phone calls with various City and/or County entities throughout the U.S.
  • Provide regular reporting on status of any pending license renewals
  • Special Projects as requested by manager
  • Compliancy Coordination:
    • Business Licenses (for clinics and dentists)
    • Occupational Tax License (for clinics and dentists)
    • Certificate of Occupancy COO
    • Certificate of Use COU
    • Sign Permit
    • Radiation Permits
    • Biomedical Waste
    • Other licenses
    • Manage Facility/Leasing Matrix (lease abstracting)

What we require you have

  • Minimum bachelors degree
  • Experience managing business licenses for 2 years
  • Preferred background in real estate and/or commercial leasing
  • Ability to interpret and abstract commercial leases
  • Data entry and Records management
  • High level of detail orientation and organizational skills
  • Basic math and analytical abilities
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Use of Internet Search Engines and Ability to Navigate (Google Bing etc.)
  • Ability to speak professionally multi-task and problem solve
  • Ability to learn and utilize in-house database systems quickly and efficiently
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and professionally in a fast-pace environment
  • Maintain high level of customer service and sense of urgency
