Position Title:Director of Institute of Private Training (Fall 2025 Start)
Position Requires Relocation to Kuwait - Relocation Assistance Provided

Job Summary:
The Director of the Institute of Private Training at American International University (AIU) plays a pivotal role in advancing the institutions commitment to lifelong learning and professional development. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a visionary leader to establish and oversee a comprehensive suite of private training programs catering to diverse learners including individuals businesses government agencies and non-profit organizations. Reporting to the Executive Director of the School of Continuing and Professional Studies the Director will leverage their expertise in private training and entrepreneurship to design innovative programs that meet market demands and drive organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan that aligns program offerings with the needs of target audiences and industry trends.
- Identify market opportunities and forge partnerships to enhance the visibility and impact of private training programs.
- Lead the design development and delivery of customized training solutions based on the requirements of clients across various sectors.
- Collaborate with faculty subject matter experts and instructional designers to ensure quality training content and delivery methods.
- Oversee program administration including budget management marketing enrollment and participant evaluation.
- Recruit train and mentor a team of instructors and support staff to deliver exceptional learning experiences and customer service.
- Monitor program outcomes and assess effectiveness through ongoing evaluation and stakeholder feedback
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in private training adult education and professional development to inform program enhancements and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Education Human Resources or related field; Masters Degree preferred.
- Experience in private training corporate education workforce development or a related field.
- Proven track record of program development and management.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities innovate solutions and drive business growth.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership ability including experience managing teams budgets and projects.
- Knowledge of instructional design principles adult learning theory and training evaluation methodologies.
- Familiarity with relevant technology platforms and tools for program delivery administration and assessment.
