About the role

As Clinical Supervisor at Relationships Australia Queensland you will play a pivotal leadership and developmental role guiding practitioners to deliver safe high-quality client care. Your primary purpose is to train monitor and support clinical staff within virtual service delivery ensuring their practice aligns with RAQs mission values and ethical standards. This position involves comprehensive clinical supervisionincluding skill development competency-based feedback evaluation and administrative oversightwhile fostering a culture of professionalism and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

Additionally you will:

• Provide accountable competent and effective clinical supervision to clinical employees particularly within our Virtual Services in line with RAQs supervision policy and procedures.
• Supervise new or transitioning clinical employees during probation supporting them to deliver evidence-based client-centred and efficient practice.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure all clinical work adheres to RAQs mission ethics policies and procedures.
• Review the quality of clinical work across RAQ programs including direct observation and client file audits.
• Deliver timely constructive feedback to supervisees highlighting strengths development areas and professional growth opportunities.
• Fulfil duty of care responsibilities as outlined in RAQ policies and procedures and promote the organisations mission values and ethics throughout your work.
  
  

About you

You are an experienced clinical leader with a passion for mentoring and developing practitioners to deliver safe high-quality client care in a virtual environment. Your strong background in clinical supervision is matched by your ability to provide constructive feedback support professional growth and uphold the highest standards of ethical practice. You are skilled at fostering a culture of learning and accountability and you thrive in collaborative values-driven settings where your leadership inspires excellence and continuous improvement. With excellent communication skills and a commitment to Relationships Australia Queenslands purpose and values you are ready to make a meaningful impact on the lives of both practitioners and clients.

Additionally you have:

• An undergraduate degree in Psychology Counselling or Social Work or other appropriate Human Services/Social or Behavioural Sciences/Health/Law.
• Minimum five years relevant experience in the human services area (e.g. Psychology Mediation Counselling Social work).
• Experience supervising Psychologists Counsellors Mediators Social Worker or other similar Human Service/Social Science/Health allied health workers.
• For RAQ applicants: Successful completion of 6-month probation review in at least one RAQ clinical role.
• Knowledge of the legal ethical and practice standards environment in which RAQ operates (e.g. HSQF ISO 9001: 2015; Family Law Act Child Protection Act Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act).
• Knowledge of and ability to apply best practice models for clinical supervision.
