Job Description
As a Lab Analyst you will follow established procedures and guidelines to perform routine laboratory procedures to test the quality of the organizations raw materials in- process products and finished products.
This position is fulltime in Lake Charles LA and will report to the Quality Qemetica offers excellent Medical Dental & Vision Benefits; matching 401k retirement savings; and Paid Vacation Holiday pay.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine quantitative and qualitative chemical or biological analysis to verify process conditions and compile research data.
Evaluate the physical characteristics of raw materials and products such as permeability disintegration and crystal growth viscosity.
Record results perform calculations and prepare simple technical reports including conclusions and recommendations.
Follow instructions and checklists to set-up equipment and apparatus and mix chemical solutions for use in tests.
Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on laboratory equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required
1 to 4 years of lab experience
