Job Description

Primary Purpose: To deliver targeted data-driven academic interventionsspecifically for Tier 3 studentsin reading or math. The interventionist works in small group or one-on-one settings to accelerate student progress and collaborates with campus staff to support MTSS processes and student academic success.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

1. Valid Texas Teaching Certificate

2. Bachelors degree in Education or related field Masters preferred Experience

Minimum of three-five years successful classroom teaching experience

Demonstrated success in implementing academic interventions

Experience analyzing student data and using it to guide instruction

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Trustees may find appropriate.

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Deep understanding of Tiered Intervention (MTSS/RTI) frameworks

Knowledge of high-impact instructional strategies for reading or math

Familiarity with intervention programs and progress monitoring tools

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to disaggregate data and adjust instruction accordingly

Capacity to collaborate with teachers intervention teams and leadership
