Job Responsibilities:
The Test Engineer - Is role involves taking ownership of test planning execution and reporting. This individual handles moderately complex testing scenarios and works independently on projects while supporting senior team members on larger initiatives.Roles and Responsibilities not limiting to:
- Design develop and execute comprehensive test plans and cases.
- Conduct functional regression performance and integration testing independently.
- Identify analyse and document software defects with detailed reports.
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to resolve issues and improve software quality.
- Implement improvements to existing testing workflows and processes.
- Write and execute basic scripts to automate repetitive testing tasks.
- Contribute to test environment setup configuration and optimization.
- Gather and analyze project requirements user needs etc.
- Trouble shooting in testing development and execution.
- Provide one-stop testing service solution for new customers or new projects.
- Maintaining QA procedures on a per client/project basis.
- Maintaining a long-term quality plan for existing and new client needs.
- Coordinating projects through internal and external resources.
- Identifying testing problems and generating solutions for projects or processes.
Additional Job Details:
Education:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.
Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in software testing.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies tools and processes.
- Experience with automation tools or basic scripting languages (e.g. Selenium Python).
- Proficient in Windows and Mac OS environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
