Personnel and StaffingBuilds strong relationships across the district by engaging with staff regularly demonstrating genuine care for their well-being and supporting their professional growth within a culture of trust and the effective and timely implementation of the Massachusetts Educator Evaluation System outlined in the GRSD negotiated agreement and provides supervision and evaluation of all district a positive collaborative school culture that encourages continuous learning innovation and professional recruitment and hiring efforts that reflect the districts commitment to excellence and equity while complying with all applicable laws and staff development through comprehensive induction mentoring and ongoing professional learning aligned with district to staff concerns and grievances in a timely and respectful manner adhering to relevant policies and in collective bargaining negotiations as appropriate and ensures fair and consistent application of all agreements.D. Financial ManagementProvides clear strategic financial leadership that supports both long-term planning and day-to-day and manages an annual budget that aligns with district priorities and instructional goals and communicates its impact clearly to compliance with federal state and local financial regulations and facilitates audits and reporting as revolving accounts and identifies grant opportunities that support district regular communication with the School Committee regarding fiscal matters including expenditures revenues and budgetary adjustments.E. Operations and Facilities ManagementMakes timely well-informed administrative decisions that promote safe efficient and equitable school district efforts in enrollment forecasting facilities planning and strategic resource full compliance with applicable laws regulations collective bargaining agreements and ethical the School Committee on the development revision or elimination of policies as and oversees implementation of building maintenance and capital improvement procedures for the safe equitable use of school facilities and emergency preparedness crisis response and school safety protocols with a focus on student and staff : Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent in degree in educational leadership administration or related field strongly of 10 years of educational experience including at least 3 years in successful administrative leadership with central office experience strongly experience is strongly understanding of the operational and instructional needs of regional school districts including collaboration across multiple addressing the challenges regional districts face in funding transportation and regulatory ability to foster positive collaborative relationships with staff families school committees and municipal communication skillswritten verbal and interpersonalwith the ability to listen actively engage respectfully and communicate clearly across stakeholder expertise in curriculum instruction assessment and instructional in labor relations contract negotiation and managing complex organizational to student-centered decision making equity of access and educational empathetic leader who values input builds consensus and learns from knowledge of Massachusetts General Laws DESE regulations and public school governance and accountability by: School Committee in accordance with Massachusetts Law and Massachusetts Educator Evaluation system Work Year: 12 months Salary: Regionally competitive compensation and benefits multi-year contract
