Job Description
Are you a GREAT teammate Do you LOVE providing care and compassion for the elderly Our Lighthouse Senior Living community is looking for a part time Caregiver. This is a critical position in our Ellicott City location. As part of the Wellness team you will be responsible for assisting residents in varies daily basic life activities. Well expect a good bedside manner with at least 1-year relatable experience CAN/GNA certifications a plus. In return well provide a competitive salary bonus opportunities paid holidays and Sick Time. Plus the best residents! Schedule is 2-3 weekdays with rotating weekends. Hourly rate starting at $17.00 with room for experience. This position requires both assisted living and memory care.
Essential Functions:
- Demonstrated compassionate patient with a strong customer service focus
- Ability to show tactful compassion in high stress and emotional situations
- Provide care as directed by the nurse or designee to residents residing in the facility.
- Observe and report changes in residents condition both physically and emotionally.
- Provide assistance with activities of Daily Living.
- Maintain knowledge of equipment set-up maintenance and use.
