Job Title: Open Shift Lead
Location: Dallas TX or Bellevue TX (Onsite)
Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Lead with expertise in RedHat OpenShift build on BareMetal infrastructure and proficiency in RedHat ACM OpenShift Virtualization ODF Quay Terraform Ansible and GitOps principles. The ideal candidate will design and implement enterprise PaaS solutions ensuring high availability multi-cloud deployment and optimal infrastructure scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement enterprise PaaS solutions using RedHat OpenShift on BareMetal infrastructure and various IaaS platforms (AWS Azure VMware OpenStack).
- Utilize RedHat ACM to provision and manage clusters OpenShift Virtualization Quay and GitOps workflows.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines ensuring failover and recovery plans across different infrastructures.
- Integrate cloud storage solutions with Kubernetes platforms leveraging OpenShift Data Foundation Portworx Ceph and RedHat Advanced Cluster Security.
- Lead Container as a Service (CaaS) self-service model implementation.
- Assess technology architecture identify gaps and recommend the optimal set of tools and technologies for target-state designs.
- Design high-availability multi-cloud and split-cluster OpenShift environments.
- Define and execute roadmaps for non-functional requirements guiding production implementation.
- Provide technical leadership for daily support and operations of critical production systems.
- Create update and maintain technical documentation.
- Communicate effectively across teams managing conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven expertise in OpenShift build and deployment on BareMetal infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of RedHat ACM OpenShift Virtualization ODF Quay Terraform Ansible and GitOps principles.
- Hands-on experience with Dell PowerEdge Server RAID and BIOS configurations.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles automation hybrid cloud and IT modernization strategies.
- Strong problem-solving and technical leadership
