The Sustainability Solutions Manager will be responsible for driving the Grid Integration Sustainability Portfolio Strategy managing a dynamic team fostering cross-functional and cross-BU collaboration scaling sustainability initiatives and engaging with trade associations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in sustainability and technical expertise.
How youll make an impact :
Drive Portfolio Strategy:Lead the execution and update of the Sustainability Portfolio Strategy ensuring alignment with organizational goals cross-functional activities and sustainability objectives.
Team Management:Manage and mentor a team of sustainability professionals fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with R&D Operations Marketing and other departments to integrate sustainability into all aspects of the business.
Scaling Initiatives:Identify and implement opportunities to scale sustainability initiatives ensuring they are impactful and aligned with the companys long-term vision.
Stakeholder Engagement:Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives contributing to industry standards and advocating for sustainable practices.
Market Intelligence:Lead sustainability-related market analysis identifying trends segmentation and competitive positioning.
Customer Interactions: Serve as a key point of contact for customers on sustainability related topics supporting business development and co-creating solutions that meet their environmental goals.
Your background:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Sustainability or a related field (Masters preferred).
7 years of experience in sustainability especially in grid integration or related sectors.
Proven leadership in strategic initiatives and team management.
Expertise in sustainability reporting frameworks (ESPR CSRD CSDDD EU Taxonomy CRMA PFAS F-gas regulation etc.) LCAs EPDs eco-design circularity and sustainable product development.
Experience with trade associations and industry standard-setting.
Strong analytical communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Fluent in English.
